Dear User,

When used correctly, WAY cables develop gradually and become more sophisticated, unlike other audio cords whose sound performance often degrades over time. Although flexible and built to last, WAY cables require proper handling due to their unique design, which provides an exceptional sound experience.

To ensure their longevity and the musical joy they provide, PLEASE FOLLOW these instructions to get the best possible sound from your audio system components connected by WAY cables.

• ALWAYS TURN OFF electronics before attaching or detaching cables.

• DO NOT excessively bend, knot, or twist the cable around its axis.

• ALWAYS try to find the natural path of the cable from one connection point to another, which does not require forceful bending or twisting.

• When handling the cable or attaching it to the audio electronic component, loudspeaker, or power supply, hold it simultaneously ONLY for the connector and the hard part with the coil behind the connector.

• When connecting audio components, ENSURE the cable has sufficient space behind them. AVOID pinching or roughly bending the cable to prevent damage and provide a safe connection.

• DO NOT squeeze, press, force inward or outward, deform, or trample the cable under any circumstances.

• When handling the cables, PATIENCE is key. Always insert the cable connector as deeply as possible into the audio device socket (and wall power socket) to ensure safe contact. Do this firmly and steadily, using only the necessary force to push the connector into the socket optimally, and avoid doing this too slowly to prevent micro-sparking. Your patience is crucial in preserving the quality of your audio experience.

• When using interconnect cables with RCA connectors, FIRST unscrew the outer case before connecting to the RCA socket on the audio device. When plugging the RCA connector into the device’s RCA socket, screw its case in the opposite direction until it is moderately tight. In the same method, unscrew the RCA connector’s case before detaching the cable from the audio device’s RCA socket. While doing this, use the fingers of one hand only to hold the connector’s body on its end, and use the fingers of the other hand for screwing or unscrewing the connector case. Once the cables are disconnected, do not forget to gently screw their housings back onto the connector body so that they do not slip off and get lost or damaged.

• When using the power cable, ALWAYS TURN OFF the audio electronic component: first connect the power cable to the turned-off audio device, and then to the electric network socket.

• Ensure that some of the weighty cables are not hanging solely by the connector; provide adequate support for their weight to prevent mechanical strain on the device’s socket.

• DO NOT PULL on the genuine leather tubular tags and serial-number rings on the X‑Series cables. These parts serve as unique identifiers and help absorb vibrations; they are designed to stay in place and not slide over the cable. The same applies to protective leather case covers for the Poetry‑X interconnects.

• Please note that WAY Cables require a certain ‘break-in‘ period of active use to reach their full sonic potential, as stated in their specifications.

• Use cables in dry and closed spaces, and DO NOT expose them to moisture or liquid.

• CLEANING dust from the cotton surfaces of WAY Cables products is a straightforward and efficient process. Employ a shaving brush or a similar soft, short-handled brush, applying GENTLE pressure without exerting excessive force. Alternatively, use a small handheld vacuum cleaner that operates with very low suction power and functions gently.

• WAY Cables products are exclusively designed for HOME AUDIO systems, typically intended for use within living rooms or other suitably conditioned indoor environments for audio equipment. The use of WAY Cables products for purposes other than their designated use is at the User’s own risk.
